Libra

Libra takes its cue from the design vocabulary of the 1970s. Seat, back and headrest are layered one above the other, each finished with precise seams that run through the centre of the upholstery and heighten a rich, three-dimensional effect.

Design: Giampiero Tagliaferri

The collection is a play of balances, and its name says as much: libra is Latin for scales. A refined gathering draws around the upholstered volumes of the bergère, the armchair, the pouf and the compact dining chair. A welt underscores it, settling the soft folds of the covering into order and bringing the quality of the handwork into full view.
